The Big Flood of 08
We must always remember the big flood of 2008. This was the worst flood in NEA that anyone around here can remember. Grandma and Papa's house had 2 ft of water in their sunroom, office and den! I have lost both my cameras...so I didn't get any pics, but maybe Aunt Heather can send us some to post. We actually road in a boat from Papa's house to Aunt Heather's house. Mommy had to buy her first official pair of rice boots just so she could walk through the water. Luckily, the water went down about as fast as it came in and there was only moderate damage. This was one for the books!

Wow, I didn't know it hit that hard there. What an adventure that must have been. I am glad everyone is ok. Hope to see you soon!

Like Tambrey, I didn't know it was that bad. Ughh.... I'm glad it was only moderate damage. Hopefully you won't get the rains that are suppossed to come here this weekend. Looks like you all had a great Easter!!
